Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Grevity is offline GST billing, inventory and production software that runs from a USB pendrive. Grevity is offered by Infinitix IT Solutions, a proprietorship based in Rajkot, Gujarat, India ("Grevity", "we", "us").
This policy explains what personal information we collect through grevity.app and when you deal with us, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It is written with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology Act, 2000 in mind.
2. What we collect
| When | What we collect |
|---|---|
| You fill in the demo form | Your name, business name, city, mobile number and business type, plus the language you were reading the site in, the page address and the time of your enquiry. |
| You contact us by WhatsApp, phone or email | Your phone number or email address and whatever you choose to send us. |
| You buy Grevity | The details needed to deliver your pendrive and issue a GST invoice: name, business name, delivery address, phone number, GSTIN (if you give it) and payment records. |
| You browse grevity.app | Usage information through Google Analytics: pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location (city level) and how you reached the site. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, time of request). |
We do not send your name, phone number or business name to Google Analytics.
3. What we don't collect
Your business data stays with you. The pendrive edition stores your invoices, inventory, customer records and other business information locally on your pendrive. Grevity does not automatically upload these records to our servers as part of normal offline use. We may access business files only when you voluntarily provide them for setup, data import, troubleshooting or an export requested by you.
Files provided for support or data-handling requests are used only for the requested task. We do not keep a permanent store of customers' business data. We delete temporary working copies after completing the support task. Files sent by email or WhatsApp may remain in conversation histories and service-provider backups. We remove accessible copies when no longer needed, subject to applicable retention requirements and technical limitations.
4. How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange your free demo.
- To deliver, set up and activate Grevity, train your team and give support.
- To issue invoices and keep the records that tax law requires.
- To remind you before your licence renewal is due.
- To understand how visitors use our website and improve it.
- To protect our website and forms from spam and abuse.
We process personal information for the specific purposes described in this policy. When consent is the basis for processing, we request it through an appropriate notice. We may also process information where permitted by applicable law, including to respond to a request you have initiated, provide a purchased service or comply with legal obligations such as keeping GST invoice records. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us (see section 8); this does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
7. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't lead to a purchase: up to 2 years after our last contact, then deleted — earlier if you ask us, unless the law requires us to keep them.
- Customer and invoice records: for as long as needed to provide our services and as GST, tax and other laws require.
- Analytics data: according to the data-retention setting in our Google Analytics account.
- Hosting and security logs: according to our hosting provider's retention settings.
- Files you give us for support: see section 3.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law and the commencement of the relevant DPDP Act provisions, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we use it;
- correct or complete information that is wrong or out of date;
- delete your information, unless the law requires us to keep it;
- stop using your information by withdrawing your consent;
- let someone you nominate exercise these rights if you die or become unable to.
Email or WhatsApp us using the details in section 12. We aim to acknowledge your request promptly and respond within 30 days of receiving it. We may ask for reasonable information to verify your identity before disclosing, correcting or deleting personal information. If applicable law sets another mandatory procedure or timeline, that will apply. Once the relevant DPDP Act grievance provisions become effective, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India in accordance with the applicable procedure.
9. Security
We use HTTPS and reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal information under our control. Demo submissions are sent through Web3Forms to our email inbox. Access to enquiries and support files is limited to the people who need them. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure.
If we become aware of a personal-data breach, we will assess it, take steps to contain it and notify affected people or authorities where the law requires.
10. Children
Grevity is business software for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
